You can water spray with sink hose, sponge is the last layer, but the nedia has all the bacteria. You can prob save yourself couple more days of maintenance

I’m planning on getting a few of these filters how long does the media typically last? Cause I’m tired of just burning through money on cartridges

theres not alot almost no beneficial bacteria in the water. lives in substrate decor plants and any types or rock or media :)❤

It takes 9h to kill anything with tap water chlorine it’s not instant, i use tap water to clean sponges never had issues

Literally yesterday I rinsed my filter media with tap…😭 for a 3.5 gal…. I’m seizing and skipping a water change today

I wanted to say one of your fish. Looks like one of my fi. Think itid1878 s Ziggy. I donid1878 t know what its name is, but he looks like. My name wanters name is pumpkin. But sadly, one died and it was a little bulb. He was really cute but haven't been in there for about like 2 months.
