Happened to me last year at Casino Center and Fremont. I chased the little bastard for 6 blocks, got my phone back!!! But Metro PD refused to prosecute!!!

Wow I forgot you told us that. Crazy people I saw online how a lady right in front of her acted like she was getting a plastic bag and dragged it over lady’s purse that was in shopping cart. Then with her hand inside bag she grabbed ladies wallet out of purse in a matter of seconds in one move as bag is going over bag. Becareful ladies! The bag covered her hand. This means if you even see a lady with those cloth shopping bags becareful she may have cut a hole in it to grab things. Also use a carabian climbing hook to attach your purse strap to cart. And always use a zip up purse or better use a waist purse wallet when you shop. Or cross body purse. 😊

Omg, horrible. I hope your phone was locked. Can't they trace the location of the stolen device? I'm flying out there at the end of the month. Did the Fremont Street security cameras have the crime recorded? I will watch my step out there for sure. So sorry that happened.

I caught a guy trying to reach in a stranger's purse in front of The D a few years ago. I yelled at him and he scurried away before I could find security.

Man I'm sorry to hear this. Last year our first night in Vegas we were at Caesars Palace and I had my phone on my slot machine turned around to holler at my son and when I turned around my phone was gone. I don't get the point of stealing phones. As soon as it's reported it is locked and of no value.
