Surveillance video captured a customer fighting off an armed robber at a Portland cannabis store. A man wearing a mask armed with a gun entered Eden Cannabis on Southeast 12th Avenue near Burnside on Friday, April 5 just before closing time. Two employees and a customer were inside the store. At first, the customer confronted the robber and asked him to leave. Employees slowly moved toward a “safe room” as the two men fought with objects thrown back and forth, including a tip jar, chair and garbage can that the customer threw at the robber. The suspect took off before officers arrived and no arrests have been made.
