"We were sitting in the library of my old house," is a sentence I hope to someday be able to say.

What's really f*ckin' strange is that the book he picked up was a Martha Stewart cook book!

Seeing System of a Down open up for Slayer in 1998 was fantastic.

I love that we all try to find the deepest meaning in SOAD songs meanwhile this is how they filled in the gaps of lyrics. Vague lyrics & metaphors are the best lyrics because the listener can make them mean whatever they want.

Rick Rubin is such an all time legend. And the best thing about SoaD is they always REFUSED to give the meaning behind any songs they ever did. They always said it belonged to the fans and means exactly what it means to you. Such an awesome way to be as an artist.

That bridge is iconic. Father of breakdowns. Timeless for a couple generations.

So that bit could have been "what big eyes you have" or "I am Odysseus, Laertes' son".....

On my way to go listen to that song again. Haven’t heard it in years. Forgot how good that song was when it came out. Still gives me chills hearing that part. Awesome to learn the origin
