I wanted to share and review these blushes from the YSL “Make Me Blush" collection. These are both beautiful, satin finish blushes in the shade 37 (Peachy Nude) and 57 (Coral Clash).

First of all, the packaging is beautiful and luxurious- and beauty and luxurious is synonymous (for me) with the Yves Saint Laurent brand.

There is a lovely weight to the compact that is holding the blush, and it is obvious that the everything about the packaging has been finely considered, from the magnetic closure, the colors, gold detailing and logo.

In terms of the actual blush itself- I was very pleasantly surprised. I was not given a choice for shades and when I saw the shades that I was sent I honestly did not think they would show up well on my skin. I was absolutely mistaken!

The Peachy Nude blush is extremely pigmented- so much so that I had to wipe some off initially because I went to town with swirling my brush in it. You can see from my reel that the initial application was very pigmented. I will definitely use a lighter hand next time. A little bit goes a long way.

This Coral Clash blush is also quite pigmented but not as much as the Peachy Nude and it showed up beautifully on my skin, leaving a very natural flush which I loved.
Final verdict: I LOVE it. The blush it left on my skin was so beautiful and natural and it is perfect for daily wear. It blended beautifully and was not patchy.

These are very beautiful blushes and I would definitely recommend them.
I am looking forward to trying the other available shades!
