1. How is Commodus also broken? Just cuz his father decided to give Maximus the throne instead of him does not mean he’s broken. He grew up as a spoiled brat. He killed his father all cuz he did not get his way for once in his life. He’s like Jack Horner or Lord Shen, desiring for power for their own selfish needs. For Commodus, he’s only pure evil cuz for him, his motives are out of selfishness and greed.
2. I figured for a long time that Voldemort would just be pure evil as well but apparently from what I’ve gathered, he’s actually both broken and pure evil. Apparently, for example, his mother gave his father a love potion so the latter only “loved” by the mother by the spell, thus rendering Voldemort a foreigner to love. I have no doubt Voldemort has done some pure evil things in his life but he might be just as broken as he is pure evil.
3. How is Imhotep pure evil as he is broken, especially at 70%? He just wanted to resurrect Anck-Su. It wasn’t after she killed herself, his priests were mummified alive, and he was tortured, cursed, and buried alive that he became a villain. He was only broken, straight up.
