Never seen a cable like that as there's loads of packing in there to keep its shape. Every cable I've used that size n bigger, has the conductors in a 1/3rd -1/4th round. As when you cut it, it doesn't deform the conductors.

This is not for wire rope, rebar, or armored cable. This is for copper only... even the wire they are cutting here is multi insulated copper wire. As hard as it is it’s still way softer than previous stated.
