I work in a commercial kitchen in a restaurant that is really small. the space between the grills/fryers and the prep table is only 33 inches. The kitchen is 28 feet long but the space is only 33 inches wide. We have to be able to move carts up and down that aisle to move food in and out of the kitchen so we suck in our guts to let it by while we work. It's kind of hard though because none of us are small. In fact, at five feet nine inches and 220 LBS I'm the skinny one in the kitchen. So our executive chef in her infinite and infallible wisdom hired someone who on Fluffy's scale would be a seven. Every time this person comes to work in the kitchen we have to evacuate most of the kitchen just so he can squeezed down the line between the grills and prep table then we all re enter the kitchen. Also, our kitchen is a dead end street and so he gets assigned to that dead end meaning that we evacuate the kitchen 6-10 times an hour to let him pass. Ever see an elephant drive a VW bug?
