By the time Tyson had fought Holyfield he already had abandoned his peek a boo style of fighting. By doing this he left himself vulnerable as his head movement was non existent and he heavily relied on throwing bombs and uppercuts. Because his defense had suffered he became very beatable...although he was still a dangerous fighter because he could put you to sleep in one shot!

I make no claim that this was prime Tyson but I do think stylisticly Hollyfield was a bad matchup for Mike. I am not sure prime Mike would have beaten Hollyfield. No doubt it would have been very interesting because prime Mike was harder to hit and was way faster on his feet. I maintain that the real deal was all wrong for Tyson though.

A todos los fans que me hablaban de Boxeo les decía que tengo a Holyfield para Tyson y todos me contestaban que va tu estas loco, Pero a todos les dije que Tyson decidió Boxear con Douglas antes de Boxear con Holyfield. Y Tyson le duro mucho a Douglas. Si ese día hubiese sido Holyfield en Menos de cinco asaltos Holyfield lo hubiese Noqueado y bien feo ya vieron que Douglas no le duró nada a Holyfield. Tyson had spent 4 years 3 months out of the ring. No way any athlete is the same fighter after that long out.
