Jim Morrison had a house in town just behind the Canyon Country Store on Rothdell Trail. He lived there with Pamela Courson and would pen lyrics for WAITING FOR THE SUN and most of THE SOFT PARADE. The most notable Laurel Canyon-inspired Doors track is "Love Street," about the house and the neighborhood.
