I do this everyday. This is how I learned to play the drums. I use a mic'd up Ludwig and pa. Loud af. But I'm old school. YouTube has some awesome drumless RockBand playlists.

Always thought it was neat that if you used an E-Kit for these games you basically learned how to play the songs on drums perfectly
