As soon as we register a company here, the company is a tax resident in the UAE. Registering a company means that it gets a local license, real address by renting an office and a bank account in a local bank. Therefore the company is becoming a tax resident here in the UAE, so the company’s income gets taxed by the local tax rules, not based on the residency of the owner.
The company owner doesn’t need to relocate to the UAE, but if he doesn’t, he has to pay his personal income tax in his home country, based on his home country’s local tax rules. Personal income tax must be reported and filed in the home country. There are some ways to save personal income tax with those countries which have double tax avoidance agreements with the UAE.
