at people commenting dumbass things like "oOo you're nOt reCovereD, yOu sTilL eaT heAltHy". shut up?? healthy eating ≠ orthorexia. recovering means not obsessing over food and enjoying all sorts of foods, including healthy foods, without it giving any anxiety or mental constraints.

People over here saying, “she’s eating too healthy to be recovered”.
News Flash:
1) you don’t know what her fear foods actually are and they differ from person to person when it comes to orthorexia. For some Orthorexics, it could be chips due to the oils/fats, others it could be bread because of carbs, or lunch meat because it’s processed, inorganic fruits/vegetables because of GMOS/Pesticides, carrots because it will “ferment in my stomach and my me unpure” (which is not true!), avocados because of fats, or restaurant food because “it’s not healthy enough”. A fear food for an orthorexic could literally be ANYTHING because ED’s in general are not rooted from logic but emotion!
2) eating healthy =/= orthorexic! Orthorexia is about to obsession with being healthy! Ironically being obsessed with anything is UNHEALTHY!
Keep going girl, you got this!!! Recovery is so worth it!
- from a recovering Bulimic/Anorexia binge purge subtype who is almost 2 years clean from ED behavior!

She’s still eating healthy but in a way that makes her feel mentally healthy as well. Just wanted to clear that up.
