The Dreamcast version was incredible

The remaster stays true to the original, so if the retro graphics turn you off, the remake 1+2 is pretty damn good. Soundtrack is solid as it used to be, which is also good.

Everybody’s entitled to their own opinion and everybody has a different best game of every generation but I’ll be honest I never met anybody that would even consider that as the best PlayStation one game. (Especially back in the day nobody mentioned Tony hawk games everybody was talking about final fantasy 7, Tekken 2, resident evil, Castlevania, Lunar the silver star, Street fighter alpha 2, and Some other popular games)

My brother and I got this on the Dreamcast when it came out. Absolutely incredible and one of the most influential games of all time.

I just re-bought it on PS1 not too long ago. Me and my brother had it on PS1, N64 and Dreamcast back in the day (we're not sure why lol). But I lost my copy of it forever ago, and still had 1 and 3 sitting on my shelf so decided to rebuy 2 again. So when it arrived I had to test it and made sure it worked fine...ended up playing it almost all the way through in 2 days...I couldn't put the game down after years of not playing it, that's a true testament of how great it still is.

Definitely ahead of its time. The game was great by itself but the cheat codes (like no gravity) made it legendary🔥🔥

My buddy had it on PC and that was the best version. Classic game. We did the entire “Gap Checklist.”

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver was the first game I ever purchased. It has a 91 rating on Metacritic. In my eyes, it is a solid 99.9.
