Well after 8 goes at the ‪@poorboysrc‬ Speed Run Challenge I'm officially retiring this car and will be converting it back to a Rally car. What an absolute blast! Managed to get 31MPH of this using a completely brushed system and only a 2000mAh for all of the speed runs. This was a great opportunity to see how changing up the motor, pinions and gears would affect the speed. When the stock kit only has the ability of doing about 14MPH hitting 31MPH (49.8Kph) is definitely a win in my books. Could it have gone faster with a bigger battery or going to LiPo? Absolutely!! But this year it was all about seeing how you could modify a stock MF-01X kit to something that had a bit more speed without changing the standard power source. Thanks Fil for putting this event on and thanks to you all that participated and gave each other help along the way. Great community spirit!!
