Rey got force lighting from plapatine become they're related. Disney could make it so that starkiller is actually rey's son and that way he could inherit force lighting. I know its a long shot but it couldn't hurt to hope.

I have a theory that it's actually the darkside clone from the force unleashed 2 cuz if those games are canon again, the canon ending to the force unleashed 2 is the light ending, and the dark clone didn't show up, so he's definitely out there somewhere
