This was the best looking phone ever.
Pixel should have stubbornly kept this design like apple kept its ugly, asimetric gas burners.

This was the pixel that made me leave team pixel. Poor battery life, slow fingerprint scanner, disappointing camera algorithm, and bugs galore!

I think it was a great phone especially after the Pixel 5 series they really stepped up their game and now that's really starting to show with the new pixels I'm not too keen on the new look of the Pixel 9 but it's definitely competing with the flagships. Even though I would still go with one plus before them. I think for the money OnePlus is definitely your best option as far as flagships and really mid-range phones too they have the best mid-range phones. I'm not huge on cameras so I'm more of it display guy if you got a nice display that's what I'd rather have.
