I agree he shouldn’t have used the word back, but when I watched the video I actually saw/heard it as him calling it out the guy, like “oh really? f*****?” Like a question, like “did you really just say that?” I didn’t read it as him calling him the slur back.

i get how he felt, he reacted how anyone wouldve reacted to protect their family, but he did not have to say the slur back. im glad he sincerely apologized, though
