Donโt take advise like let your kids starve or drop them off. It doesnโt work and itโs endangering them. Someone tried to tell me she let her kids starve and her husband was a police officer too. So that means she can do whatever she wants but not the rest of us. Her kids said they hate eating her food and as they became teens they started making dinner instead.

My mom had 10 children, she was a full-time mom, she run her home with rules and responsability, she was educated he old school, she was Portuguese, and let me tell you she was the best. We were never misbehaved with she could send a message with her eyes.
As teen agers my dad will grant us permission to go to the movies, however always with an speech, he will tell us " remember that the second you step out of this house, you represent this house, I wouldn't want to hear you disgraced our family name with poor behavior" my parents never used physical punishment. They were smarter than that, I would do anything wrong so I wouldn't disappoint them.
I lost my dad many years ago.
I miss him dearly. My mom is around, and God bless her. She did an amazing job with all of her kids. I only have one son, and he was raised the old school, too.

My brother-in-law did this to his son once ....they were just like a 3 minute walk away from home if you knew the shortcut. My nephew stubbornly said i can walk im not scared... he cried the moment the csr door closed amd he saw them drive off๐

She is a bad mom. Her kids are the worst. I was a bad mom too and now I've got prissy 25 year olds. I was horribly mistreated by my father, no mother, very shy, low self esteem, introvert. My husband a narcissistic macho cheater. To this day i still don't know how to be more strict but when I see other people's kids I don't feel so bad. Nobody's perfect. There's not much help for people who have no one. Authority has to be learned, saying 'no' is a lifelong battle and its not easy. At least my grandkids love me ๐คท

I remember my mom dropping us off too but I donโt remember her leaving. For my son, I remember pretending I was running out of gas. He was so concerned, he stopped crying. When we got home, I told him we ran out of gas and he would have to push the car in the driveway. He immediately got out and pushed the car to safely. lol , he was only 5 years old, but he loved me telling others, how he pushed the car. That is until he was old enough to realize a five year old canโt push a car. ๐ Heโs 34 yrs old now
