Check the spark arrestor... its probably clogged. You can burn the crud off of the screen with a propane torch.

Clean the spark arrestor and take the carb apart clean the jets and the needle valve and needle seat. Make sure the float is good. Put back together. Problem solved.

I was on the fence about my next trimmer. Debating on rechargeable or gas.
Ended up going FA94R. My blower batteries are maybe half as good a year in.

Thereβs a nitch market for the electric stuff I personally am not a huge fan. I work at a toro and echo dealer but we are one of the largest repair shops in the area. Customers and especially landscapers love the gas equipment while electric stuff is easier for elderly folks to start,maintain and lighter. Other people that live in say a small house with a tiny yard electric stuff works well for that type of area
