There is a similar story in my country today. The abies were switched at the maternity. The twins grew up and everyone thought they were not identical, until a photo on social media changed everything and they discovered that the couple did indeed had identical twins, but one of them was switched with another little boy at the same maternity ward. Now the couple is fighting in court to get their twin son back from the other family, at the same time they don't want to return the switched little boy to them. This kind of feeling is hard to understand until you experience it.

People praise Carmen for being such a great mum. I agree with that in the sense of being a better parenting. I just wonder how Grace would grow up having to deal with hardship and missing out many things she should be entitled, but running around because her parents try to dodge the immigration system? That is something I don’t want my child to have that in her childhood. If I was rich, well I would provide everything as Gabby would.

Even if they didn’t get switched at birth, Grace would’ve acted just like Juanita. Carmen raising Grace is what allowed her to be the way she is. Gabby raising Juanita is what made her be this way.
