The Minonk library only had one book on beekeeping at the time: "ABC and XYZ of Bee Culture."
John checked this book out on repeat. He would renew as many times as he could before he would have to check it back in. The second it was available again, he'd head back to the library to check it out.
Fast forward to the present day, just down the street from that library, HillCo is operating.
John recently went searching to see if that book he checked out so many times as a kid was still in the library.
Sure enough, it was!
John offered to buy the library a new copy of the book so he could cherish the one he spent so many hours reading as a kid.
It took some time, approvals, and ordering of a replacement. But eventually, the library agreed.
Never underestimate where the knowledge from a good book can take you.
