I was talking the other day with my friend, discussing books and it occurred to me that I read some books over and over again. I definitely read the good ones again and again. Whether it's a year later, years later or even just a couple of weeks later, I find that when I read a book again, it's almost like reading a whole other book. So I figured that it must be because I'm reading it as a different person now. We continuously grow and change, and as we change so does our perspective.
So, do you go back and reread some of your books, like I do? And if you do, do you find all these new things that you didn't see before? If you haven’t, I recommend it. Pick out a book that you loved and read it again. Obviously, if it's a self development book, you're going to find things in there that didn't hit you before. That’s because you're a new person, different from who you were the first time you read the book. Now you're a new you, so read that book again as the new you and see what happens.
