I try to include a heavy rope row atleast as one of my heavy back exercises.
Has helped alot in both growth and strength of my forearms. Its not for everyone as putting 85-100kg for reps on ropes as a rowing exercise is alot. I consider myself an intermediate lifter strength wise myself, ropes can be used in such a big variety and always forces you to engage heavily on the forarms.
