I was a paramedic for over a decade thus had interactions with them at every scene. Most were nerds who had been bullied in their youth. They have the power now (in their minds) Many of them drank excessively and were on a power trip in their home. So many mousey wives walking on eggshells around them. Then there's the macho man cops. A whole other breed. Doubley horrible to their spouse or any woman who defy their ego or their "authority "

I know a few good cops and most of them complain about the bad cops in their department. Just the otber week, my job trailer got robbed. Theives cut through the side with a grinder and stole over 5k in tools. Cop that responded seemed totally indifferent and refused to file a report, told me to go file a report at the station. Like what do we pay them for?
