In this Woggle Guide we’ll look at how to set up the Chrome browser on Android to auto-delete search history.

Welcome to Woggle Guides.
In this guide we’ll look at how to auto delete search history on Chrome on your Android phone.

Let’s start by opening the Chrome app

Tap hamburger menu to open the left hand menu of the app

Choose the search history option

The search history page opens

This page details all your search history but we’re interested in the option to auto delete search history - let’s tap into that.

If we click on the down arrow, you’ll see you can choose to auto-delete search history after 3, 18 or 36 months

Let’s choose 3 months.

If we tap on next, Chrome then asks you to confirm that any activity older than 3 months will be deleted.

Tap on confirm to proceed.

So in future, only 3 months of search history will be stored.
