Something ive learned recently from my priest, as a catechumen coming over from a charismatic background, is to respond to temptation with prayer. What i was raised on was to engage temptation and "rebuke in Jesus name." On the surface, that seems fine, but what the demons want is to break your communion with God by talking to them. I cant tell you how often ive given in to sin after "rebuking" them. I still catch myself doing it before remembering what my spiritual father said. As a result of this advice, ive had much more success in avoiding sin. I hope this advice may help others who struggle with sin and that i may continue to strengthen that habit in my life. Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on my, a sinner.

Those are incredibly wise words, this helps me, but im in a incredibly big loneliness, i want a hug from a woman i love and that loves me, but there arent, and that causes big grief that makes me weaker and easier to fall into sin, just to make the pain subside a little, just some love...
