When you go into rules... The dm will be horrified but everyone that drops dead isn't a corpse... It's an object

You could use Animate Object to create 5 animated corpses with 40 hit points, an Ac of 13, and an attack that does 2D6 +1 damage that are immune to turning, or you can use an upcast animate dead (Lvl 5) to create 5 zombies with 22 hit points, AC of 8, and 1D6+1 damage that can't stand up to any cleric of your level.
The real question though is: Can you cast animate dead on an animated corpse? What would happen is you did?

I used animate dead on a wyrmling corpse once after having a blacksmith bonded mythril to its skeleton and it became my companion. Then I was cursed and it became my arch nemesis and my companion

So a bard of the college of creation can animate a dragon and play as necromancer, and since his deception skill is off the chart can actually pull this out making everybody think he is a necro! Cool....

Damn I wonder if there's a spell in Skyrim that lets you reanimate a Dragon corpse and yes I know you can just summon durnehviir but still it would be cool for a necromancer build to just reanimate one
