You have to remove that large box where the muffler bolts on to behind the Header pipe, or install a aftermarket Headers that already has that box removed. Well by remove I mean cut it off with a saw or grinder with a cutting disc. In north america people call it the "Bread Box" then it will be really loud.
Otherwise if all you do is remove the stock muffler it won't make a difference because the Z900 has 2 mufflers because of the Euro 5 regulations.
As long as you leave the catalytic converter installed you won't have to get a dyno Tune.
