These are adorable. When you do the hand stitching on each of the orange peel sections are you intentionally gathering it a bit to help create the sections in the pumpkin? I’ve made some fabric pumpkins in the past I used some coarse twine (hemp?) I applied some heavy starch or watered down white glue to it and wrapped it around a glue stick, secured it with an elastic band and let it dry. It makes to cutes little corkscrew pumpkin vines.
