You have to be a millionaire to be considered middle class

You used to think that because a million dollars used to be worth a lot more, look at the rate of inflation since the time when you ā€œused to think thatā€ šŸ˜‚

I feel like net worth is calculated oddly for a lot of people. If I have a million in more liquid assets like stocks and bonds I would think that could be counted towards your net worth. But if half of my net worth is my house and I would have to sell my livelihood to actually have that money am I really a millionaire? In my opinion I dont think so.

It actually is quite easy to become a millionaire. Step one: be born directly after WWII

Your statistic of every 2-10 people you see being a millionaire is wrong. That is households. The top 5% of Americans are millionaires and California and newyork alone has about 25% of Americans individual millionaires. You seem to have just gone with the first thing that came up on Google or googles ai both of which where household and not individual.

This is the best reason to own some Bitcoin. There are only 21 million Bitcoin available to everyone, and there are 58 million millionaires in the world. They could never own a whole one! BTC is absolute scarcity in a world that is creating more and more millionaires with every new stimulus package!

Rather surprising, but makes sense. What % of individuals are millionaires? I think this might be a more insightful Q&A.

If you donā€™t have a million in liquid or retirement assets, you donā€™t really have a million dollars. Or you are a millionaire by definition but youā€™re not really living like a millionaire.

Many house rich millionaires but cash poor at the same time.

On paper. Also, more than likely, most of those people are like 65 or older and accumulated their wealth through property. Very misleading.
