I'm a drummer and like the full mix in my monitors. I typically don't need a ton of bass because I can get that with stage volume, but guitar leads, keys, vocals, yeah I absolutely need that.

If I was drumming, Iβd probably want the vocalist louder in the mix. Probably a good bit of guitar and bass too. Still mostly click and myself, but having the rest of the song there makes playing more fun.

As a drummer Iβd absolutely refuse to play with a click on concerts. This destroys the live aspect of the music and the human aspect of it too. Metronomes are a tool to be used during practice sessions so you can always be more accurate and rhythmic, but at a concert, you are putting your practice hours to the test along with their effectiveness and show yourself to the public as a human and not a machine.

As a vocalist/guitarist in a modern metal/pop punk band, I tend to have kick and snare loud, click medium, my guitar slightly louder than our other guitarist and the synths, and bass pretty low since Iβm usually stood in front of the bass cab anyway, works great for me
