Oh my gosh I forgot all about putting Silly Putty on comics and lifting it off the page. Used to do that all the time. Remember that song real well too, “The Wanderer.”

I didn't come around until October of 1967 so my memories of the 60's are hazy at best, but by God, I was there.

Eating supper on TV trays in the living room. Only the set wasn't turned on.

Actually silly puddy was invented boy a boomer using a gilbert chemistry set , he used the revenue generated to build a rocketship made out of wood and scooter pies! Thanks for bringing me home a little (one of em,maybe my favorite)! ❤

Born in '69, remember all of those. Granted, the drive in closed in1979 so I only was there as a kid, not on dates (and 70s wagons were smaller). Also have to line up dates (or remember the al foil packaging) to remember the TV dinners were cooked in the old school oven.

I'm a 70s kid, but remember candy cigarettes, silly putty, drive ins, and cap guns that sometimes stung your hand while shooting. What I always wanted to try was the Gilbert toys. They look dangerous but very cool😎
