It being closer to 4x3 while still having minimal letter boxing for gba resolutions makes it not bad for retro, really based on preference though since emulation on anything else can also handle these generations.

I’d personally rather shell out an extra $20 for the RP2+ if I wamt good N64 performance, or the same price for the Miyoo Mini+ (worse performance but better build quality) or $20 less for the RG35XX.

Personally not worth it because of the cheap controls and the issue with the battery and the heat generated by the console, that a big no-no..

I don't think I'll use the device for dreamcast emulation but I believe the RGB30 will get me better emulation since its more big.

Concerned about the heating issue on the battery. Would it be possible to test out the heat generated and if this would cause the battery to explode?
