I recently purchased @charlottetilbury "Hollywood Flawless Filter" in the shade 4 (medium) to see if it was worth the hype and $$$.
I actually mistook this product for a foundation, but I looked at the box as well as the website and the word "foundation" is not used anywhere.
This is a lightweight, tinted product that provides a beautiful glowy effect. My skin really likes this but I like a heavier coverage (i.e. a foundation). This can be worn underneath or over a foundation- I will try that out as well at some point.
If you love products that make you glow, then you will love this. This shade is slightly too yellow for my skin, but I am a muted olive so everything looks either too pink or too yellow/orange on me.
It is a lovely product- I personally don't know if I would purchase it again. It is quite expensive but I had some gift cards from previous years so I thought I would use some of the money for this as I have been wondering about it.
Is it worth the hype? I guess it depends on if you are looking for a glowy base product and have $$$ to spend. I feel like it is a great quality product that may be worth the hype for some, but not others.
