Why do some all terrain tires say to not use with chains aswell as when I bought my truck from Toyota it came with a thing saying to not use chains

My Tacoma owners manual says never put chains in front…dealers says it can damage suspension, sensors etc. tight clearance.

Duhh! Been using them down here in TX during ice storms ever since I was old enough to drive. 71 yrs.old now.

I run the cross bar ones. After using them in Germany in the army I found out how much better they are than even the regular.

have used chains many times down here in texas,on solid ice,never had a 4wheel drive vehicle

Front 2 only is a great way to have the rear pass the front on a downhill and become completely uncontrollable.
