I don't like being seen with crocs in public... However, i have owned a pair for 12 years now and they have survived tropical rainforests with me. I can certainly vouch for their durability but of course not their style

Crocks suck, and I find dress shoes and welted boots to be more comfortable. But, then again, I am weird about my footwear. Soft and squishy soles made of rubber lack stability. I rarely wear sneakers either for the same reason. Soles like leather or Danite are far more solid and stable. Even if I found crocks comfortable, they are still ugly as sin. No go!
