If someone stalled my career, fucked over my friends and threatened the image of my company/the livelihoods of staff I'd be hella pissed too.

Major respect for Eugene after hearing that he stayed more active because of scandal but is now finally doing what he wants while still behind scenes in Try Guys.

That's actually super respectable. I can tell by this information that Eugene really cares about the business and the people working there

As someone who studied PR crisis management, the trio did a fantastic job during that whole saga. And as a fan of their work for years, I was really proud of them for the way they handled it.

I knew he looked too angry in that first video. I know it was a huge betrayal to all of them, but it makes sense that he reacted that strongly if it affected his career plans.

Eugene staying despite the fact that it wouldn’t benefit him whatsoever shows how strong of a bond they have, and how much he truly cares for both the company and them. Respect

Eugene’s show of integrity has been monumental and rare in this industry and I will always have incredible love and respect for him.

I love these guys. They really persevered through that difficult time and came back stronger than ever. Keith, Zach, and Eugene deserve the world. ❤️

Just shows that Eugene was a man of integrity. Even though he had his own projects he wanted to do independantly, and the scandal COULD have been a time to dip, he cared so much about them and the content than it hardened his resolve to stay and help.

I think it speaks somewhat to the parasocial nature of internet celebrity that people seem to assume that someone leaving the screen also means they're leaving the lives of the other actors. And then furthermore, that that must mean there was some kind of drama or hurt feelings, because otherwise why would you turn your back on your friends?

It's a job, y'all. People don't stop being friends because they don't work at the same McDonald's anymore. (I mean, I guess they do sometimes.)

Tbf Ned always rubbed me the wrong way. He made his whole personality being the “married guy” and saying he loved his wife every single video, every chance he got. Trying way too hard to prove that image. Came off as disingenuous.
Then it comes out he’s cheating on his wife with the producer? 😂 honestly …I wasn’t surprised. Don’t blame them all for cutting that creep out

That “You’re the reason I stayed” quote was deeper than I thought

SNL was a lil bish for mocking their first video about that scandal. Companies should aspire to be able to handle things as maturly as Zach, Keith, and Eugene did. It's too rare for companies to confront these kinds of issues in a clear and straightforward manner. To think that they're on the side of "cheating on your wife with your lower-status employee, as the boss, is cool" just outs their company as more sketch and untrustworthy. Which isn't too surprising, as they're run by people who have no respect for anyone on youtube as if its a benign platform with nothing and no one worth watching because they "aren't professionals".

A big FU to Nedward for hurting my boys, his family, and myself!!!! I’m very grateful he was caught! He was the worst Try Guy!!! He was not the example of a greatness that the rest were!! One of the main goals or qualities or lessons that they were teaching was nontoxic masculinity. He was failing at that for years!! It was clear from the start! He disrespected the precious baby boy that is Zaddy too many times!!! He was a walking red flag!!

I think it’s super sweet that it was a conversation about Eugene re-focusing on his personal professional goals! That’s real friendship right there!

I have so much respect for the way Eugene, Zach, and Keith handled the scandal; they persevered through an incredibly hard time and came out so much stronger. Also props to Eugene for staying longer to help his friends, that shows how big his heart is and how much they all care about each other 💜

Eugene won as the best boss in one of the episodes and I think he truly cares for his business partners and more importantly his employees…he kinda reminds me of my bosses who always were there behind my back professionally and personally…
