Hi Sarah, I need your opinion. New Years in Cancun or Costa Rica. My friends say CR really doesn't do anything exciting. Any tips if we do end up in CR for New Years? Thank you

I have been to Sep 15, CR Independence Day celebration in Washington DC at the embassy a couple times. When folks ask me "how was it" I have to say "kinda like American Independence Day, except not in July and they have dancing, better food and music. It looks like New Years in CR is kinda the same thing..."pretty much how it is done in the US, except not as cold, good food, music and dancing".
