People always said this was a white power song, maybe cuz they’re German. (????) A coworker once did it at karaoke and did the hitler hand thing and everyone was like wtf! It actually is a double entendres of either “you have “ or “you hate” or…. “U have me and u hate me.” Like a toxic relationship. I always knew it wasn’t a race thing, but it was a huge worldwide song. So many people I know were afraid to play it growing up cuz people would think you were a racist if u did. But…. It’s a great, and very catchy song, which is why it went to international. Interesting to know the real story, and glad to see u jamming to it.

Watch some of their actual videos as opposed to the live versions. They understand that a worldwide audience doesn't necessarily speak German so they create videos with stories to get the ideas across.
