I still to his day remember back in the 80s, Wallis funfair used to come to the town every summer! I was fascinated by the trucks and generators, while everyone was being spun around under bright lights, loud music and screams of joy, I was admiring what gave that, the generators! Sadly, those days have long gone, health and safety has gone mad, gone are the days of exposed engines and makeshift exhausts mixing diesel along with grease, fried onions and candy floss!
