Many years back, when I was a child, my mother actually went through it, and it completely changed her life, but in a bad way. Not to go through an entire story. But this is the truth. My mother had broken her nose twice and was told to do it. She then had a crooked nose afterward, trouble breathing, and her nose was reshaped so horrible she had insomnia and possibly depression. After trying to get it fixed again. We eventually found another doctor and was even worse than before. Then, a year or 2 after, but eventually found someone decent enough to do it, and was temperailly fixed. So I wish you luck.

NO WAY! Kyle, I just got my deviated septum fixed as well. Same procedures as you. My advice, make sure to saline a bunch. There will be a lot of ooze from your nose and you just got to keep letting it drip out. Another thing is make sure to eat some soft foods because chewing will make more of the stuff come out of your nose. It will suck for the first couple days but after a week you’ll be able to take off the drip pad and there won’t be any more ooze. Just follow what the doctor says and I wish you a well and safe surgery! It makes all the difference!
