The fridge in the video is a whirlpool fridge, they seem to have this issue even more than most other fridges. clearing the drain hole can be done by using hot water, a small pick, or just leaving the fridge unplugged for a couple days should do it also.

Mine is a newer whirpool side by side and I keep hearing a dripping/hissing noise at the bottom. Could a blocked drain be the issue there too?

This helped a lot! Thanks. I have an old fridge with the same orientation and followed this to fix it up.
Only thing for me, I had to use the shop-vac and apply some suction where the drain tube come out in the back. It was all stuck and no water would go through. I tried snaking the drain from the freezer too but it didn’t seem to work.
Anyway, thanks man! I got er done with your video to get me started. 🎉🙌
