Yeah, my neighbor went through the same thing, the only difference was 3 months after the couple stopped paying rent my neighbor paid 3 hells angels to go there and politely evict them, no frills, no cops. They were literally thrown into a van and driven to the outskirts of the city. all the locks were changed and my neighbor moved in. These squatters need to learn a valuable lesson, play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Ive told this story a few times in YT but here it goes again.
I worked with a huge samian dude. After his dad passed his mom bought and moved to a small condo because the upkeep was easier. She rented out her old house. They had squatters (paid for a month or two then stopped).
Instead of contacting a lawyer he called 5 of his samoan buddies. They rented a big U-haul and gave the squatters 2 options move out today or move out today AND go to the hospital.
They chose the former. So a half dozen Maui's loaded the uhaul and unloaded it into a storage unit. Everyone went in there way.

Squatters rights need to be abolished. Unless a building is literally abandoned and unrestorable there is no reason you should be living on private property you either don't own or arent renting out

My stepdad is currently living in my deceased mother's house and hasn't paid property tax etc in many years. The front door is completely covered in eviction notices etc yeah he is still there. He has turned the entire property into a garbage dump. My mom's wants beautiful home is now barely visible through mountains of garbage... But because of his last name and his connections he's getting away with it and so much more...

Property owners. Have a family member or trusted friend sign a lease agreement to the property. Use that to evict the squatter.

I thought I would provide you with some extra information regarding this issue. It's not a "red team vs. blue team" issue. Nor county vs state or state vs. feds.
It was the British who established the law, and when the United States declared independence, we decided to keep that stupid law. It's time to abolish it. We no longer live under British Laws, and this is no longer the days of kings & queens. Some cities have their own ordinances and laws, but not enough cities, counties, states, or feds have fixed this issue. It's high time to do so.
To be frank, this whole "squatters rights" law was brought over here by the british as a way to ensure every home and farm was occupied and could still provide for the kingdom.
We all need to start contacting our government representatives for the actual state government and the federal government. We MUST make noise in order for thrm to fix anything.
