the National Hangeul Museum aims to make
the value of Hangeul as a script and cultural asset

The permanent exhibition hall consists of seven
themes de- rived from the preface to
Hunminjeongeum, The book that reveals
the purpose and principle of creating
Hunminjeongeum, the letters. In this respect, the entire venue represents the book in its entirety.
Walking along the aisles of the exhibition hall allows visitors to trace the history of Hangeul.

Educational Program

To promote Hangeul and Hangeul culture-related
content at home and abroad, the museum provides educational programs for different target audiences (e.g., children, teenagers, adults, and foreign visitors) as well as exhibition-based educational programs.
