in March of 2023 a group of seasoned anglers and friends laid plans to explore the waters around Walker's Cay Bahamas for the first time in almost 20 years., a two week expedition .. this video is a perfect example that many times in life, things don't always go as planned .. with the permission and blessing of owner Mr Carl Allen., we had full access to the island Paradise and the surrounding waters. Annie Flanagan, the Harbor Master was not only a great help with the project, she became a part of our rag tag family ..
with obligations to sponsers, when the weather there didn't cooperate, we decided to do whatever possible and quickly shifted gears..
we returned back to florida and spent a few days targeting Big Jacks out of Jensen Beach., with the guidance of Rufus Wakeman, the few here provided great content and memories made that will last a lifetime ..
off to the Everglades Baby ! Jimmy Wheeler if the "Everglades Fishing Company" in Everglades City opened his business and home to our group and was an amazing host.. he fed and sheltered us like family., and took us deep into the Glades for some amazing fishing .. without his knowledge and hospitality none of this would have been possible ..
as it turned out, a two week Adventure from Jensen Beach, to Walker's Cay and back to The Everglades., a crazy "Runaround" was selected by the #internationalflyfishingfilmtour 2024 ..
