For your worldview you have to presuppose that the Bible is (1) inerrant (2) internally consistent (3) ordained by God (4) the last and only the revealed of the scriptures by God (5) the councils of men that established the canon perfectly aligned their decisions with the will of God.
I choose not to presuppose all those things, because those presuppositions are logically incoherent and not grounded in reality.

The Bible also doesn’t teach your present day interpretation of ancient, foreign texts. But I don’t blame you, as it’s full of contradictions, edits and errors that need to be deciphered, and that’s too much work, so let’s cherry pick our favorite verses of what we want the Bible to say. And better yet, we’ll claim the Bible is inerrant so that we have some way to back our ideology.
