The only thing I don't like about it is you're not going to get a throaty tone out of that neck pickup. It's practically in the middle.

So apparently a guy named Dana Sutcliffe is behind the so-called Dana scoop. It happened as an accident with a router initially and then one thing led to another they ended up building two or three thousand of them. Sometime between 92 and 95 I think. It was actually quite popular for a while. Eddie Van Halen amongst other known guitar players supposedly had played them. I wonder why nobody else has picked up on the design. My guess would be aesthetics. Also probably a lot easier to break than a Gibson headstock

1st time coming across this unique design š®! I constantly complain about b'n able 2 comfortably get 2 the bottom notes (medium size hands). I would definitely buy this type of design n my guitar. Plus, Ćlvarez is a quality maker. Nice

Thatās a cool great looking neck, I donāt know about that swoop but I guess as long as you donāt drop it neck first but it looks like some choice rosewood from back in the day and I like the inlays too.

i never expect any guitar under 1000ā¬ with a non-locking trem to stay in tune š. the biggest issue is the material of the nut and the way it's cut, like 90% of the time when regular non-locking trems don't hold tune
