Nice idea, but when cars replaced horses, they were seen as a clean alternative.
How long do solar panels last?
What percentage of them can be recycled?
What minerals require mining to produce them?
What's the carbon footprint look like for a solar panel?
How far from the equator do solar panels stop being efficient?
How many days per year can a resident of New York use them?
What's the carbon footprint for the batteries so the energy generated in the day can be stored and used at night?
What's the efficiency of the inverters that turn 12/24/48 DC volts into a usable AC voltage?
How much are non induction motors vs induction motors? Because induction motors, such as AC, pumps, fans, washers/dryers don't like "generated" AC from an inverter?
How much does it cost to effectively convert a house to 100% solar?
Just like electric cars aren't the answer or practical for most people solar isn't a practical solution for most peoples energy needs.

Mass solar and wind is a scam ...Hell global warming is .. we could benefit greatly from a couple more degrees with more carbon would open up so much more land northward that would be habitable and more carbon would allow more plants and food and quicker potentials and better quantities
