The Magic Mouse is so annoying but on purpose. They knew if they put the cable in the front most people would keep it plugged in. They have such a vision for their products they will make it inconvenient to use it any other way

Every Apple pencil came with a female to female lightning adapter so you could charge it with a normal charger, it’s gotta be a Mandela Effect that literally everyone in the world forgot this, really not sure how when so many of these channels are supposed to be hyper focused on apple and knowledgeable

The bad designs aren't always about charging. The original iMac had a mouse that was perfectly round. I called it a "(f)puck." Because as you worked, it would invariably rotate in your hand, and then the mouse pointer wouldn't go where you wanted it to. It would point off into the distance.

I find that charging the mouse isn’t bad, but I find annoying that while charging you can’t see the battery increase in real time, u have to turn it off then turn it on and check on the mouse part

According to theories, the Magic Mouse has the lightning port underneath because Apple wants to preserve the wireless look with the iMac. So, you’ll be forced to use it without charging cable.

don't forget lightning. it's less durable and slower than usb c, and only used for iPhones and the magic mouse

The Magic Mouse really isn't an issue to me. I only charge it like once every 1-2 months, just plug it in overnight and you get a good 1-2 months of usage. If I need a quick top up I charge it during a shower and it’ll be good for a few days. I get that it looks weird plugged in but it doesn't bother me because I don’t really look at it while it’s charging.

For those who don't know: Apple mouse was designed like this with purpose. So you can't use it with cable. In this case the minimal wireless desk 'look' remains intact.

My theory to the Magic Mouse is, they didn’t want people to leave the mouse plugged in while using it

I like the concept of the Magic Mouse because the MBA trackpad is the only trackpad i like and mice are infinitely better. However, at the fastest setting, it’s still slower than molasses in winter.

My biggest gripe with the Magic Mouse is no charging indicator. You don’t even know it’s charging. The only way to really know is to connect it to your MacBook laptop, and click your battery icon to see if it’s charging.

Imagine your Magic Mouse dies right when you started working and you need to send the file to the boss in just a few minutes and you can’t
